FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt

ASM Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Maintenance Worker at Cowtown Coliseum. This role is responsible for p articipating in all maintenance aspects of ASM Global offices, suites, seating and workshops at the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Seat repair and maintenance to include cup holder removal and installation.
Maintenance of all suites to include drywall, hardware, painting, ceiling tile and fixtures.
Various carpentry projects in offices and suites, as required, to include new construction or repair.
Concrete patching, caulking and coating.
Painting of various surfaces, as required, to include paint removal and surface preparation.
All other duties that may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Two years prior experience required.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to understand and follow simple directions communicated both orally and in writing
Ability to take direction from multiple supervisory and management staff
Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment common to the construction trade
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the construction industry

This position requires the ability to work flexible and extensive hours, including weekends and holidays based on the event schedule.
Operates in both office and shop floor environments
Involves walking, standing (for long periods of time), bending, stooping and climbing (inclusive of ladders); includes manual labor, moderate lifting and/or arduous working conditions; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may work at heights greater than 20 feet.
Position may be subject to adverse weather and working conditions: dirty, hot, cold, wet, confined areas or other uncomfortable places
Position may be subject to adverse noise levels, from moderate to loud.
Exposed to the hazards of falls, cuts, bruises and strains.
Required to use protective equipment as may be needed for the specific task.
