Radiographer

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer Signing Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Work location: 6301 Harris Parkway - Suite 300 Fort Worth, Texas 76132

Work environment: Orthopedics Medicine Specialist

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday, (8am - 5pm)

Here’s What You Need:

· High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

· Completion of an AART-approved Limited Radiologic Technology Education Program (REQUIRED)

· Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)

· One year of Clinical Radiologic Technology experience (PREFERRED)

· AART, BCLS and ACLS upon hire (REQUIRED)

What You Will Do:

· Produce and perform diagnostic radiographs procedures, to be interpreted by the physician or radiologist

· Take X-Rays of various portions of the body in order to diagnosis disease or injury; positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking diagnostic images flowing established procedures

· Examines radiology film and/or digital exams for properties such as density and contracts, definition, magnification and distortion

· Maintains radiographic log, in accordance with the policy, taking responsibility for documentation of exam, patient’s name, and/or retake reason

· Follows principles of safety, radiation protection , and the general comfort and care of the patient
