Job Description
The Bosch-Rexroth R&D organization in Fountain Inn, SC is looking for a control systems engineer to be part of our North-American functional bundle development team. The candidate will work closely with the systems engineering team to develop application software for the next generation hydraulic and electronic systems for the off-highway market. The candidate must be excited to be part of the simulation, programming, calibration, testing and commissioning of bench test hardware, prototypes as well as customer machines. Additionally, customer on-site support will be required with an average of 20% travel nationally and internationally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities may include the following
Develop Software Solutions using simulation tools in collaboration with the engineering systems development team
Utilize Rexroth’s HW and SW to develop and implement application software
Setup data acquisition systems and collect data for debugging and commissioning purposes
Prepare documentation to collect and verify customer requirements prior to and after vehicle commissioning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in a technical field with emphasis on control systems
Experience working with embedded software development or industrial controller programming
Experience with Hydraulic and Mechanical Systems is required
Experience on C programming, Codesys, CANalyzer, Simulink preferred
Experience with DAQ SW and HW preferred
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and organizational skills is an absolute must
