DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the DOC, you handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies for SCI Mahanoy.
Responsibilities include inventorying stock and receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and raw materials. You also train and monitor inmate workers in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies. In addition, you prepare routine reports and operate motor vehicles, forklifts, or hand trucks to move oversized or heavy items, remove scrap materials, or make deliveries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40-hour work week. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,664.00 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirement:
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania non commercial Class C driver's license which is not currently under suspension. Additional Requirement:
