Job Description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for analyzing information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, preparing general ledger entries, maintaining records and files, and reconciling accounts. This role also involves preparing payments by accruing expenses, developing and implementing accounting procedures, and handling various specialized financial tasks.

Hard Skills

  • G/L Entries in Foundation

  • Reconciling bank accounts

  • Sales/Use Tax filing

  • Monthly A/R report preparation

  • Payroll processing

  • Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns

  • Calculation and remittance of worker's compensation insurance premium

  • Preparation of 401(k) transmittal spreadsheet and contribution remittance

  • Maintenance of spreadsheet tracking for ACA compliance

  • Preparation of certified payroll reports

  • Updating health insurance spreadsheets

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Freeport, Pennsylvania.

Full-time, on-site position with a standard 40-hour workweek. There is a possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule.Controller
