  • You will be part of an innovative research and development team and will support us in the development and testing of tracking technologies for neurosurgical navigation systems.

  • In general, you will be involved in the development of state-of-the-art optical tracker technologies for surgical use.

  • You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to day-to-day challenges of an international medical technology company with your practical solutions and add your own ideas to new concepts and innovations for our navigation portfolio.

What makes you stand out

  • You are enrolled in an engineering (mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medical technology, computer science or similar) or natural science degree program.

  • You have a strong technical interest and a passion for innovative products.

  • You convince with a responsible and analytical way of working as well as a distinct ability to understand complex systems (hardware and software) as a whole.

  • Best case You already have previous knowledge in the field of medical technology and optical localization techniques.

  • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming is preferred, and familiarity with CAD software is a plus.

  • A high level of initiative, openness, team skills, and communication (as well as good written and spoken English) round off your profile.

Duration: 6 months

Start: September 2024
