Available for an immediate hire, Robert Half is searching for a skilled, eager, and strong candidate to fill the role of an Accounting Manager for an expanding, influential company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Your responsibilities

Help build a team of accounting professionals with responsibilities for all day-to-day accounting transactional accounting including the following: general ledger, consolidations, revenue recognition, royalty accounting, and fixed assets.

Manage global accounting close calendar and ensure closing objectives are met

Manage the General Ledger system, accounting operations, monthly and quarterly close

Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and provide consolidated data for reporting purposes

Review revenue contracts and suggesting proper revenue recognition according to ASC 606.

Develop and implement global policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls

Support annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors

Coordinate Tax fillings & quarterly royalty reporting.

Oversee accounting and compliance matters for the Company

Drive implementation of new software projects, as necessary to support business conditions and automation

Requirements

BS Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred

Strong GAAP and SOX 404 knowledge- prior public company experience preferred

10+ years of progressive experience in GL accounting
