Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No eye contacts allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Office, Rapid flashing lights, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Various outside weather conditions, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Discover Impactful Work

As a vital member of our Facility Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining laboratories and offices in our advanced cGMP manufacturing facility. This position offers a distinct chance to make a significant impact on our organization's success while working in a supportive and diverse environment.

A day in the Life

  • Ensure all facilities equipment and utilities are in compliance with regulatory standards and in good working order

  • Complete assigned work orders, maintain HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and perform building repairs

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems

  • Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations

  • Recognize deviations from accepted practices and troubleshoot using tools, test equipment, and operating manuals

  • Apply understanding of cGMPs consistently and generate written records of job duties

  • Communicate status of work assignments to internal customers and assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures

  • Promote safe work practices and respond to emergency notifications

  • Perform additional job duties assigned

Keys to Success

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • EPA 608 Technician Certification

Experience

  • 2-4 years of related experience, with 2-3 years working in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong mechanical skills and a deep understanding of quality systems

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate reports and establish good working relationships

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs routinely and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $79,200.00–$106,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
