Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Principal Electromechanical Engineer to support one of our clients in the filtration system and cleanroom sensor industry. This position will rely heavily on R&D of new systems designs in lasers, sensors and filtration systems. The Principal Engineer will collaborate with other engineers on the team to come up with new and innovative solutions/systems to implement across the organization. This person will also work on solo projects and train/develop engineers and disseminate information across the engineering org on new developments in their findings and overall knowledge of the industry.

This will be Hybrid or Onsite in either Medford, OR or Fremont, CA

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

• 10+ years of experience in Electro-optical instrumentation design and testing

• Strong background in analytical spectroscopy (UV/Visible/NIR/IR absorption, fluorescence,

Raman, etc.)

• Experience Designing laser, sensor or filtration systems

• Experience with the following computer programming languages: C, Matlab and Labview

• Masters Degree in related field Plusses:

• Microbial or Fluorescence/Biofluorescence experience

• Previous experience in Cleanroom filtration systems or sensors null
