Description If you want to work with a dynamic team, you might be Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional this growing Agriculture company is looking for. Responsibilities include entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Fresno, California region and is a permanent employment opportunity.

What you get to do every single day

• Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

• Follow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks, such as general accounting

• Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts

• Validate documents and codes

• Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

• Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

• Answer questions from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

• Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Proficient in ERP systems

• Proficiency in Aged Receivables

• Billing experience highly desired

• Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Aged Receivables

• Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
