Production Worker

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Production Worker:

• Operate press equipment.

• Process laundry in plant established lot order.

• Maintain production floor distribution.

• Shake, sort by route and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing.

• Classify and lay out items for pressing. (For example: Industrial shirt versus executive dress shirts)

• Separate soil pick-up tickets

• Check for needed repairs on items

• Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system

• Trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up.

• Load trollies into trailers.

• Insure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times.

• Additional duties as assigned

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

• Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
