What an LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse Will Do:

  • Administers hygienic care to patients in a manner which promotes safety, dignity, and comfort, as defined in the scope of service for the nurse's area of practice.

  • Collaborates with the nursing team, contributing to the development and implementation of a plan of care for all assigned patients, using the principles of the nursing process.

  • Performs a variety of skilled nursing duties including sterile procedures and use of specialized equipment.

What an LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse Will Need:

  • Graduate from an (ACEN) accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing

  • A valid Florida State Practical Nurse License

  • You have more than one year of experience as an LPN in Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTAC).

  • Current BLS through the AHA

  • 30-hour IV Certificate preferred or complete Certification within 3 months of hire to administer IV medications, blood, etc. (will reimburse cost for the course to obtain certificate).
