You will be responsible for panel builds and assembly of electrical wiring on a broad range of interesting projects, building, and debugging state of the art automated equipment for the manufacture of life saving medical devices for our discerning multinational clients. This is a hands-on role that includes working on various stages of each project including design, build, installation, and commissioning. You will work on bespoke machines and will have exposure to the latest technologies in the world of Automation. Main Role Responsibilities: • Read and interpret electrical/pneumatic drawings and schematics • Complete the Panel Build Assembly, Panel Wiring and Field Wiring systems • Shall be responsible for the build quality of each project • Assist with the completion of key project milestones, power up, set up tasks such as IO Checks, Safety Resetting, Safety checks and all Quality checks • Develop an understanding of the key project milestones and of what it takes to ensure the completion of each stage is done as it should be • Test, troubleshoot, debug, and validate equipment performance, compliance to applicable standards and technical specifications • Complete all required documentation • Inspect drawings for clarity and liaise with electrical design engineers • Complete assigned work within agreed timelines and quality targets • Contribute to the cleanliness, order, and housekeeping of the workshop • Provide accurate duration and effort estimates for planned builds Key Skills & Attributes: • Standard Electrical technician skills • Willingness to learn • Good teamwork and communication • Reading and analyzing electrical/pneumatic schematics • Troubleshooting • Time management • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office • Flexibility to work extra hours where needed • Attention to detail is a key role requirement Qualifications: • Level 6 qualification in an Electrical Discipline desirable or equivalent experience • 2+ years in a similar role
