Through our unique combination of local expertise, global network, and unmatched R&D capabilities, we can offer everything from standards profiles, to advanced development andmanufacturing for most industries.Since 1905, Hydro has turned natural resources into valuable products for people and businesses with focus on a safe and good workplace for our 30,000 employees in more than 140 locations.Hydro is committed to leading the way in shaping a sustainable future and in doing so, creating more viable societies by developing natural resources into products and solutions in innovative and efficient ways to industries that matter.Job Summary:As a long-term engineering intern, you will make recommendations to create, document, develop, and implement procedures required to paint, test, process, and pack aluminum extrusions.Job Location:Gainesville, GAJob Responsibilities:Develop and update process techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.Working closely with finishing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.Make recommendations on design and development of manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products.Provide engineering support in production departments to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems.Create and support data collection spread sheets for department\'s process improvement.Measure parts, as needed, with various tools and/or gauges to determine part conformity to the print.Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.Support company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives.Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:Actively in the process of pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in engineering from an accredited university.Fluent in Spanish is a plusCare, Courage, & CollaborationAt Hydro We care about our People!We care about Safety!Hydro is heading in a new and exciting direction, and we depend on different perspectives to solve our tasks and meet customer needs.
