Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1 year of experience.

Job Summary:

Serves as the principal project coordinator for facilitation of research projects, administration and the IRB as appropriate.

Job Duties:

  • Coordination of funded grants and submission of new grant applications for international research projects and training programs conducted by CTD members;

  • Coordination of travel and logistics for visiting speakers for the Infection and Immunity seminar series;

  • Coordination of research activities of the Global Infectious Diseases Research Network, including maintenance of research databases, preliminary data analysis, communication between investigators, travel arrangements for GIDRN meetings, planning and coordination of workshops, searching for potential funding opportunities, supporting grant application preparation and submission, and ordering supplies for GIDRN research activities;

  • Coordination of the T32 physician-scientist training program personnel and activities;

  • Facilitating collaboration with other ID- and global health-oriented Centers and Institutes on campus

  • Engaging with Center leadership and other stakeholders in strategic planning for increased global impact

  • Presenting progress updates to leadership and key partners;

  • Managing the CTD budget and liaising with the ASG staff to maintain optimal administrative practices;

  • Occasional ordering of supplies and processing reimbursements;

  • Coordinates domestic and international travel related to CTD programs

  • Coordinates educational courses and training activities related to the CTD programs

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience.
