Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Food & Food Processing industry. The role is based in Gardena, California, and will involve data entry and research in accounts receivable, as well as the opportunity to learn or apply skills related to V lookups and Pivot Tables. The role requires a presence onsite during standard business hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and managing data entry related to accounts receivable

• Conducting research as required within the accounts receivable function

• Learning and applying skills related to V lookups and Pivot Tables

• Managing and maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries efficiently

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Note: This role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail. Requirements • Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent education level

• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Proficiency in utilizing financial software to track and analyze data

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining detailed, accurate financial records

• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and internal teams

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving issues related to unpaid invoices

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with the Food & Food Processing industry is desirable but not essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
