Cleveland Clinic Safety Quality Patient Experience Specialist I - Sepsis in Garfield Heights, Ohio

Directs safety, quality, and experience work within assigned scope of responsibility. Coordinates and implements improvement initiatives. Partners with clinical leadership to set objectives and key results. Models Cleveland Clinic Core Values and behavioral standards. Coordinates with cross functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with all standards and favorable performance on safety, quality, utilization, and experience metrics. Participates in engraining the safety, quality, and experience requirements as outlined by regulatory and accreditation bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.

  • Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.

  • Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.

  • Allocates time to meet completion requirements. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

  • Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or other clinical/hospital experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Certifications:

  • May be required for specific positions as per policy or regulation.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.

  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational and problem solving abilities.

Work Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or other clinical/hospital experience preferred.

  • Three years of experience in systems training, project management.

  • Data analysis in healthcare setting preferred.

  • Offset: Associate's degree and five years of experience.

  • Offset: Master's degree and two years of experience.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $27.65

Maximum hourly: $42.17
