About the role

We are seeking a Product Management Lead - D&A for our European region. This position is responsible for leading and executing on our detection and alarm portfolio strategy, overseeing strategic planning, ownership of the product development process, the successful launch of products and ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.

As the Product Management Lead - D&A, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the execution of our product strategy and vision, aligning the product roadmap and product goals with the Company’s overall goals, market trends, and customer needs.

  • Overseeing the product planning process by collaborating with cross-functional teams, prioritizing features, defining requirements, and creating a product line roadmap for the entire product development lifecycle.

  • Leading product managers and coordinating their activities to ensure that they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) while fostering collaboration with engineering, product design, marketing, and other departments.

  • Monitoring the market landscape, conducting competitive analysis, and staying updated on industry trends to ensure the product remains competitive while addressing evolving customer needs.

  • Successfully plan product launches by collaborating with product marketing, the development team, and the sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and pricing

To be successful in this role;

  • You will be able to demonstrate experience working with residential or commercial fire products with a working knowledge of standards and/or regulatory requirements across Europe.

  • You will possess a solid understanding of product management tools and processes, including proficiency in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, market research techniques, and data analysis.

  • You will possess leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team, set a clear vision, and guide them toward successful product outcomes.

  • You will be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, key for conveying product vision to key team members and stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • You will have strong collaboration skills. You will work with diverse teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams, so it is essential that you can foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

  • You will be a strategic thinker and make informed decisions about product direction, market opportunities, and competitive positioning while analyzing complex situations and leveraging your problem-solving skills.

  • You will be adaptable and flexible - as the product management landscape is dynamic and constantly evolving, it’s important that you are comfortable with change and able to embrace new technologies, methodologies, and agile strategies.

  • You will be degree qualified or demonstrate equivalent experience in sales, marketing, engineering or business.
