We are looking for a IT Change Control Coordinator able to coordinate and support the processes to control the change and configuration requests, related both to Applications and to Infrastructures scopes, and ensuring the changes don’t undermine stability and availability of our ship and Shore Services.

How you’ll live your ambition:

We’re looking for a talented professional to join the IT team as IT Change Control Coordinator, reporting to Head of IT Change control at the Company’s Headquarter in Genoa – Italy.

Your role will be critical in ensuring that change and configuration requests are released maintaining the stability and availability of our vessel and shore services.

Demonstrate your passion

  • You will coordinate production and non-production releases - Agree upon appropriate dates and times with all internal and external stakeholders (Release Team, QA testers, Customer, Service Desk), schedule appropriate resources, and maintain mitigation of internal tasks.

  • You will ensure that the releases adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as to the organizational policies and standards.

  • You will identify priorities, conflicts, dependencies, and risks for the releases and approach the schedule accordingly.

Get things right

  • How? You will ensure that accurate records of all releases, including their purpose, scope, and implementation details, for auditing and future reference, are maintained.

  • You will plan all phases and activities involved in the release of a system or system update, scheduling meetings and developing the release recommendations and deployment plan based on input from multiple stakeholders, within various portfolio teams.

  • Interact with the IT teams for the roll-out of the various activities according to the plans, related both to Applications and Infrastructures scopes

  • Your journey includes a minimum of 5 years of previous experiences in IT Service Management for multinational and complex environments.

  • You have a solid Computer Engineering background or scientific disciplines.

  • As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English (any other language represents an appreciated skill).

  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills combined with excellent planning, problem-solving skills make you unique.

  • You embrace innovation, creativity, and strategy guided by strong digital skills and a proactive approach to spotting problems, areas of improvement and performance bottlenecks.

  • You are familiar with the main service management technology solutions (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy) and ITIL processes (e.g. incident, problem and change management) and monitoring tools.
