How you’ll live your ambition:

We’re looking for a talented professional to join the team as IT Operation Cloud Engineer, reporting to the IT Operation Director at the Company’s Headquarter in Genoa – Italy.

Your support will be critical in Global Maritime Information Systems' mission to develop and smooth operation of the technological capabilities in all marine areas for the Carnival Corporation’s brands, aiming to achieve effectiveness and innovation in alignment with the brand’s operational and financial performance targets.

Demonstrate your passion:

• You will contribute to the preparation of the technical documentation (manual, presentation, guidelines)

• You will support the coordination, plan and control of IT Service Provider activities in all environments shoreside (Azure cloud) and onboard (Azurestack HCI and VMWARE partition)

• You will act as a technical support for external providers in relation to deployment of systems delivery, incident - problem - changes analysis

• You will develop and maintain appropriate communication channels/tools with the Carnival Corporation community and fluent working relationships

Get things right

How? You'll be involved in working groups and business initiatives requiring Azure Cloud knowledge

Interact with different Corporate Teams, mainly in Network, Security and Infrastructure.

Interface with the cruise lines IT teams for the roll-out of the various activities according to the plans, mainly for Network configuration.

What makes you unique:

• Your journey includes a minimum of 2-3 years of previous experiences in Microsoft Azure or in Azure Cloud environment administration for multinational and complex environments

• You have a solid Technology background (track of learning achievements and certifications would be appreciated )

• As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English (any other language represents an appreciated skill)

• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills combined with excellent planning, organization and time management skills make you unique

• You embrace innovation, creativity, and strategy guided by strong digital skills and a data-driven approach.
