About the Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing maintenance leadership on the shift through organizing and planning maintenance activities and priorities. This position leads activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. This position also provides technical and problem-solving support for the plant and maintenance crews and supports and executes plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve plant key performance goals for overall maintenance performance :
Supervise daily activities of maintenance to support maintenance programs and production while ensuring compliance with Company expectations for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Human Resources
Supervise the Maintenance Team members while supporting the maintenance of plant, production and services equipment across all shifts
Lead and/or participate in projects involving equipment installations, modifications, repairs and renovations and to upgrade facilities and production equipment.
Ensure compliance with all policies, rules and regulations, and procedures regarding Safety, Quality, GMP, HACCP, Sanitation and production goals
Responsible for maintaining food safety (SQF) in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on afternoon shift
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ other technical field and/or 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in Manufacturing, with LEAN manufacturing experience highly desirable
Industrial Red Seal Electrician and/or Millwright certification highly preferred
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
