Entry-Level Facilities Maintenance Worker - Georgetown, Texas

We are currently seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Facilities Maintenance Workers to join our team. Position Overview:

As a Facilities Maintenance Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include executing preventative maintenance schedules (PMS), conducting repairs, installing and upgrading equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness of both the equipment and the facility. This position will also involve a variety of maintenance tasks related to building systems and infrastructure, providing a great opportunity to develop a wide range of skills.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday

  • 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM

Salary:

  • $15-$18 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Assist in Installing and upgrading equipment as needed to support facility operations.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the facility to uphold safety and hygiene standards.

  • Conduct building maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, elevators, plumbing systems, as well as maintenance of doors, windows, walls, and roofs.

  • Participate in groundskeeping tasks to maintain the exterior aesthetics and functionality of the facility.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in production and facility equipment.

  • Work in various conditions, adapting to the needs of the plant production schedule and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic understanding of maintenance processes and methods.

  • Willingness to learn and follow safety regulations and standards.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Previous experience in maintenance, particularly in commercial or residential building maintenance or manufacturing plant maintenance, is beneficial but not required.
