Jacobs HVAC and Building Services Engineers (Hybrid) - Multiple UK Locations in Glasgow, United Kingdom

About the opportunity:

In this position, you’ll be part of a several hundred-strong team across the UK, and will work daily within a smaller team based in either Glasgow, Bristol, Reading, Warrington or Stockton. Hybrid working is available, and we also have full- and part-time roles available. Occasional expensed business travel to client sites may be necessary.

Our team is experiencing exciting growth and we’re looking to recruit and develop career-minded HVAC and Building Services Engineers to bolster our well-established and multi-disciplinary engineering delivery capability.

In this role, you’ll support our clients across the UK. Our projects span the nuclear and defence sectors and include developing solutions through all RIBA stages in highly-regulated environments, supporting air, land and sea defence establishments, the UK nuclear submarine fleet, and both existing and new build nuclear power stations.

Here’s what you’ll need :

We’re recruiting at all levels of experience, so whether you already have experience of working in a similar role in the Nuclear and/or Defence sector, or you’re looking to apply your transferable skills and industrial design experience to a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

If you meet some or all of the criteria listed below, please get in touch:

  • Relevant education/qualifications/experience in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

  • Experience in the use of CIBSE guides

  • Experience in the production of design deliverables e.g. Plant sizing calculations (heating/ cooling/ fan sizing) and commissioning of a diverse range of mechanical building systems

  • Familiarity with engineering software packages such as CAD, Hevacomp.

  • Can liaise with multiple stakeholders and coordinate with other design disciplines

  • You must be a UK National to enable you to obtain SC level security clearance, which includes resident in the UK for the preceding five years
