About the opportunity:

Our Rail Civils discipline is part of our wider Transportation business, we take pride in delivering technically complex schemes across the UK and internationally. Our team has earned an enviable reputation within the consultancy sector through portfolio of high-profile projects with clients that include Network Rail, TfL and HS2.

As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support in delivering rail civil design services, modelling and drawing production throughout all stages of project development. Modelling and drawing works are typically provided using the Bentley suite of software programs. Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of an engineering team to develop designs for rail deliverables

  • 2D/3D modelling and drawing production for all stages of the design

  • Engaging with other disciplines/organisations to ensure a coordinated design

  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior members of the team

  • This role presents an excellent opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment on a wide variety of projects

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • HNC in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline, we are happy to consider candidates that are currently working towards a qualification

  • Experience using design and modelling software (Bentley Microstation, Building Designer or similar)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
