Veralto E-Commerce and New Account Specialist in Glen Allen, Virginia

  • Process orders received by electronic channels

  • Process, confirm, track, and problem solve customer purchase orders. Average 20 - 30 customer purchase orders (PO) per day through various methods of receipt.

  • Communicate directly with external vendors obtain customer order status and product information (10% of order tracking process)SOURCING

  • Determine freight charge routing and allocation to properly apply freight charges to customers (100% of order entry process)TRANS

  • Discern commission decisions at order entry time and act as necessary (5% of order entry process)FINANCE COMMISSIONS

  • Interpret customer purchase orders to identify long term contracts and sales agreements (70% of order entry process)AR REV REC

  • Establish connection for sales agreements and enforce maximum purchasing amount. (50% of sales agreement process)AR REV REC STOP ORDERS

  • Generate new customer accounts in system

  • Review information received from commercial team and validate to create customer account within company system (averaging 6-10 per day)

  • Review tax requirements as provided to correctly input information into a streamline process that directly impacts customer invoices (100% of new account set up process)TAX ACCT

  • Correctly identify customer contacts to drive critical business processes. Problem solve when validation fails to ensure contacts are correctly set up (100% of new account set up process)REV REC and DENIED PARTY LIST

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of compliant customer requirements and perform a review at first pass to comply with International Trade Law (100% of new account set up process)REV REC AND DENIED PARTY

  • Maintain and work within secure customer portals

  • Manage account for high security, high profile customer to assist in establishing multi-year contracts.

  • Navigate through high security customer portal, Exostar, to process customer requirements.

  • Access secure customer portals to obtain and confirm customer purchase orders.

  • Practice discursion while using company login information to access customer portals.

  • Champion problem solving to improve errors made by team and self. Drive to root cause and implement sustainable countermeasures.

  • Prioritize complex tasks

  • Effectively organize structure of day to complete priority tasks while meeting service level metric

PROVIDE PHONE SUPPORT

  • Place phone orders as needed

  • Practice control of complicated phone requests (direction, pace, tone)

  • Diffuse irate callers
