Document all information obtained into the EMR and scan all corresponding documents.* · Responsible to interpret and verify information received from Insurance Payer* · Ensure communication with referring/rendering provider: obtain and validate authorizations.* * * · High School Diploma · Associates Degree or four (4) years of insurance experience in a healthcare environment preferred · Medical Terminology required · Anatomy and Physiology preferred but not requiredLicenses/Certifications/Registrations * * Skills/Abilities · Ability to type 60 WPM or more · Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding · Knowledge of Medicare and third-party payer regulation desired · Ability to multitask, problem solve and work independently · Strong organizational skills, effective interpersonal skills Licenses, Certifications · CPC, CCS, CCA preferred but not required * * Communities We Serve Located in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack mountains, Glens Falls is conveniently located a short drive away from the capital region and Lake George.
