AECOM is looking for an experienced and energetic Administrator to join our team in Southeast Queensland. This dynamic role can be based in either of our Brisbane or Gold Coast offices, where no two days will be the same. We are looking for individuals who will grow with the role and become valuable members of our team. As an Administrator in our Transport Group, you will provide support to the Transport Group Lead, Team Leads and Transport Client Account Managers, project and bid support, administration, and coordination to ensure smooth and effective operations. Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Schedule meetings and travel arrangements

  • Assist with arranging group events, both internal and external

  • Assist and coordinate compiling professional documents, presentations, and bid documentation.

  • Help with the onboarding of new employees including systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Collaborating with other teams within the broader AECOM business such as the office administration support network, finance, facilities, safety and IT to expedite business needs for individuals and teams.

  • Assisting with projects to manage and coordinate processes from concept to completion and liaising with stakeholders on behalf of the project team to support the effective delivery.

  • Other day-to-day admin and housekeeping tasks as required.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Five years or more experience in project administration for Construction or Engineering projects or working in large organisations in the support of efficient project delivery.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat (or similar PDF tool), and the ability to pick up new systems is preferred.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • A flexible approach with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage conflicting priorities, and show initiative to get the job done.

  • Efficient, highly organised with solid time-management skills.
