1. 4+ years enterprise infrastructure support experience working in a customer facing environment resolving both remote and hardwaree issues. (imaging, ipad/iphone connectivity issues, password resets, printer installs etc.)
4+ years experience with troubleshooting Windows OS , Active Directory both support/administration
2+ years experience with SCCM (imaging and deploying software)
Nice to have: 1-2 years experience troubleshooting basic network connectivity. Specifically Cisco networking equipment. (configuration experience is not necessary)
This position is based around "day to day infrastructure issues". This individual needs to have experience working in an environment where they have been multi-tasking and supporting multiple different technologies across multiple different end users. This position will sit in the Uncle Sam location and will be supporting almost 300 end users.
A majority of their time will be spent working within windows 10 OS.
They will be troubleshooting end user issues, computer peripherals, iPhone/iPad connectivity issues, as well as reimaging machines and doing deployments, updates and migrations when necessary.
The second largest part of their time will be spent working with active directory and exchange. They need to be familiar with adding new users to the OU or Organizational Unit, and working on resetting passwords and adding new mailboxes and users to the exchange system. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting these systems in the past.
Candidates will also be required to do some basic network troubleshooting. They do not need to be as well versed on Cisco networks but they need to understand if their is a problem with the computer if it is a result of the software/hardware of the computer itself or if this problem is stemming from something wrong with the network. They need to be able to do basic troubleshooting and then escalate the issues to the networking team when appropriate.
This is more of a tier 2 position so candidates will not be spending as much time on the phones as this is going to be more of a traditional support role. Very "HANDS ON"
