Actively recruiting for a local hospital who is immediately seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist for a 2 month temporary assignment.
Schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
$19.00 / hour
Job Duties:
collect patient information verify insurance coverage submit pre-authorization requests follow up, monitor progress, expedite process communicate with healthcare providers patient education accurate and detailed recordkeeping HIPAA compliance
Requirements:
previous prior authorizations or experience working with health insurance required medical terminology required excellent oral and written communication skills required must have exception customer service skills must have proficient intermediate computer skills Full job description available for qualified candidates.
