Your day. As a Physician in Primary Care, you'll work with sevenother Physicians and four Nurse Practitioners to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with behavioral health, MAs, RNs, and front office support staff including a clinic manager. You would practice in a large clinic setting, Patterson Primary Care in Grand Junction, CO Your clinic days are flexible with corresponding FTE ( .7-1.0) 1.0 FTE, 36 Patient Contact Hours in 4 - 10 hour days Practice Call is currently 1:11 and runs from Wed 7p to Wed 7a, the week you are on call you will be the sole provider for our Saturday acute care clinic 8a-12p and one week day will be cut in half to make up for this time. Patient load will start at 12 -15 patients a day as you establish a patient panel Your experience. We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Residency training in Family, or Internal Medicine Board certification or eligibility Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one Ability to successfully complete St. Mary's credentialing process Your next move.
