Adecco is hiring immediately for a Staff Accountant a local client in Grand Prairie, TX. Pay is based upon experience from $36/hr - $38/hr.

Duties:

· Timely monitoring of accounts payable records and review of payment proposals, ensuring they are according to budget in coordination with the shared services center.

· Prepare and follow up closing entries, such as bonus accrual, payroll accrual, payroll payments, Accrual prepaid, amortization prepaid, others.

· Prepare and post monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

· Preparation of annual 1099 forms.

· Knowledge in state, federal and sales tax.

· Ensures the reconciliations of all the accounts well done and follow up with the shared services center.

· Reconciliations for vendor statements with the account payables.

· Keep the archiving with all the supports and signatures for internal control purposes.

· Support the general accounting manager in the daily task to ensure and reinforce the accuracy of the accountancy with the support of the shared services and with any special projects, as necessary.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license preferred.

· 5+ years of general ledger experience (public accounting a plus).

· Experience with SAP (account payables - finance) preferred

· Microsoft Excel advance knowledge of all accounting processes in general, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury

· Ability to analyze research and solve problems.

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills including cross-functional collaboration.

· Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.

· While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.

· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
