PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install electrical wiring and assemble components in control boxes according to blueprints
- Build specialized control boxes - boiler, DDC, steam to steam
- Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable assemblies
- Modify control boxes as required per sales orders
- Connect color coded and numbered wire
- Solder and crimp connections
- Calibrate and test control boxes
- Perform testing on components and assemblies according to quality procedures
- Follow all requirements of the PRIMUS Quality Manual
- Construct custom test fixtures and diagnostic equipment as directed by engineering
- Assist research and development activities as directed engineering
- Follow all PRIMUS safety requirements
- Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineer to eliminate assembly problems
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy via the Kanban system
- Facility housekeeping (5S)
