Job description
Functions and Responsibilities:
Confirm vise is true to machine
Review set up sheet and pulled tools
Provide feedback after tooling is set of any concerns to team
Run Single control and small vertical machines
Use appropriate machining tools: go/no go gauges and calipers for inspections compare to blue print
Set up, operate, and tend to preventative maintenance for CNC equipment
Interpret and work from complex drawings and blue-prints
Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances
Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operators
Responsible to record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports
Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area
Follow established safety procedures
Education:
High School/GED - required
1 year machining certification - preferred
Experience:
1 – 3 years of machining experience
1+ years of Haas Control - preferred
