Job Summary The Technical Advisor will be responsible for Remote Troubleshooting and Remote Flash of customer and Fabick equipment. The Technical Advisor will receive work assignments from various service departments and determine if the service call could be resolved or benefit from a Remote Service session. This will include speaking with equipment owners and/or operators to work through the process of troubleshooting machine issues remotely and updating machine software as needed. Responsibilities Use Remote Services platform to log into machine electronics to view reported issues. Communicate with equipment owners, operators, and rental customers to work through the process of troubleshooting machine issues remotely and updating machine software as needed. Required to follow correct troubleshooting for the machine fault to determine correct course of action. Build possible parts list for Field Service personnel to take on the first trip. Must document all steps/findings in work order correctly and follow up with Service Groups to ensure job completion. Develop processes for Rental Departments to ensure rental fleet has most recent software updates for better machine efficiency and uptime. Assist in developing and adjusting Best Practices for use of the system. Properly document all sessions and track for quarterly goals.
