Sinclair Broadcast Group News Producer in Green Bay, Wisconsin
WLUK Green Bay, has an immediate opening for a creative News Producer for our #1 morning newscast Good Day Wisconsin. In this role, you aren't alone. You will be part of a team of producers, writers, editors and anchors; all committed to creating compelling news content. Our morning team leads the market with impactful news and community content. In this position you will determine the content and flow of newscasts, work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories and develop content for our web site.
The ideal candidate will have:
Solid Writing skills with a creative twist
Be able to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative newscast
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must
A positive outlook and supportive Team Approach to your daily work
Experience:
Previous newsroom experience in college or through an internship is preferred
We offer an extensive training and on-boarding program
A journalism degree is preferred
