GREENFIELD Food Service Cook Job Description DUTIES: Prepare same-day meal service for up to 1000 students daily Prepare for next day service as needed (i.e. safely thawing food items) Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and as directed Follow strict food safety protocols Follow strict portion control and nutrition guidelines for all foods Fill out daily production records Assist Cafeteria Lead with ordering and inventory Any other duties as assigned by the managers or the director QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work without constant supervision ServSafe certified, or be able to pass the exam within one year Ability to follow large-batch recipe directions and adhere to nutritional guidelines Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment Ability to maintain good working relationships with student and staff Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds using proper lifting; varying - Such reasonable alternatives as deemed acceptable At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred High School/Trade School degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required SALARY: As per negotiated contract and based on experience. (Eligible for benefits).
