Description

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is in the manufacturing industry and will involve working with various accounting software systems and processes. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be expected to handle a high volume of invoices and work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of 150-200 invoices per week, including three-way matching.

• Work with a variety of vendors, including those with unique invoicing requirements.

• Utilize AS400 and participate in system upgrade implementations.

• Apply your experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to optimize workflows.

• Employ your skills in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting to maintain accurate records.

• Use ADP - Financial Services and Concur for various accounting functions.

• Leverage your knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) to enhance efficiency.

• Adapt to different processes and be open to learning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Coding

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated ability to use Concur

• Knowledge and understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Strong grasp of general Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
