Robert Half is partnering with a growing company in the Englewood area on an Accounts Payable Manager role. Position Title: Accounts Payable Manager.

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounts payable function in a high-volume environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.

  • Develop and maintain efficient processes and procedures for invoice processing, payment approval, and vendor management.

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Monitor cash flow and vendor payment schedules to optimize working capital and maintain positive vendor relationships.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and accuracy.

This role is in office 3 days a week, so candidates must be able to commute to this office.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a high-volume environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, colleagues, and senior management.

  • Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team, set clear expectations, and foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to accounts payable and financial operations.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
