SCI is currently looking to add an Inventory Control Clerk to our team. As an Inventory ControlClerk you will be keeping inventory of tools and supplies at the appropriate levels necessary forproduction to run uninterrupted at our facility in Gulfport, MS. Essential Job Requirements: Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconcilesactual stock count to computer-generated reports. Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assistingcustomers. May lead, guide, and train employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracksorders and investigates problems. Sort, file, label, and verify tooling and tooling bins. Order new tools and equipment when necessary. Mark and identify tools, fixtures, and other equipment by using identification tag, stamp, or othermarking tool. Clean and maintain the tools stored in the tool room. Inspects and measures tools for defects and wear, and files and stores them correctly. Conducts inventory of the tools in the storage room and prepares inventory reports for SupplyChain Manager. Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies. Ensures the storeroom is kept clean and orderly Performs other related duties as assigned. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in ArmsRegulations (ITAR). Due to the nature of our work, United States Citizenship, is required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties andresponsibilities specified. Proficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory records. Enhanced data base and spread sheet entry skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel proficient) Must be familiar with various power and inspection tools. Must be familiar with various hardware components and applications Possess above average math skills and inventory skills Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess a valid state driver's license for this job. Repeat the same movements. Bend and twist their body. Climb stairs/ladders. Be able to lift, push, pull, or occasionally carry heavy objects. Vision abilities required are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperception ability to adjust focus.
