We are seeking an experienced Bid Management Professional with 10-15 years of expertise in managing complete proposals for Control & Instrumentation Packages for Thermal, Gas-based & Hydro Power Plants. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in handling tenders for Central Government & State Government Utilities, Private Utilities, Overseas customers, good understanding of Field Instrumentation Packages including proprietary packages related to Boilers & Turbines. The candidate shall possess strong communication skills and ability to co-ordinate with multiple teams. Experience in Power Plant C&I Engineering shall be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

· Review & understanding customer’s technical specifications, provide compliances and offering best solution suitable to customer’s requirements.

· Preparation of Bill of Material(s) in line with the specifications.

· Review of technical specifications for Field Instrumentation Packages related to Power Plants. Releasing RFQ’s for vendor quotations for bought-out packages.

· Review of vendor’s quotations including commercial terms & conditions.

· Understanding customer’s terms & conditions mentioned in the tender.

· Co-ordination with Procurement & Commercial Counterparts to expedite the bid submission process.

· Preparation of bid documents in line with the tender specifications.

· Submission of bids within the suitable timeframe.

· Post-bid discussion with the customers and consultants, as applicable.

· Project handover to execution team after order acquisition.

· Preparing Win / Loss analysis for higher management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a relevant field is required. An MBA is preferred.

· 10-15 years of proven experience in sales and tendering of Control Systems (DCS & PLC), preferably for Power Plants. Knowledge of SPPA T3000 DCS shall be an added advantage.

· Demonstrated success in handling Sales & Tendering process, with a track record of meeting ambitious goals.

· Good understanding of boilers, steam turbines, power plant processes, measurement concepts of various parameters.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a cooperative work environment.

· Willingness to travel, if required, to meet clients and other business requirements.

· Willingness to work in different time zones, as per business requirements.
