Microsoft Corporation Finance Business Analyst Manager Germany in Hamburg, Germany

The key responsibility of Business Analysis Manager is to orchestrate Finance RoB (Rhythm of the Business) across the Area, securing alignment on close, forecast, outlook and executive summaries and guidance on Area performance. The role acts as the primary Finance partner for the business and provides the all-up insight on the Areas business performance.

Responsibilities

Finance Excellence

  • Orchestrate the finance rhythm of the business (ROB) for the Area including Close, Forecasting, Performance Reviews, centralized Area top line budgeting.

  • Have the overall view of the budget/forecast/APR and challenge Customer Segment and Customer Solution Area Finance Manager inputs where appropriate.

  • Active participation in worldwide finance communities.

  • Leverage the standard IAP & Modern Finance reporting to drive Area insights on New Business Performance.

Partnership

  • Leverage latest set of tools (Modern BI, predictive analytics) to drive healthy assessment and dialogue around business forecast.

  • Drive clear insights from internal and external metrics and trends and provide clarity and alignment with Area leadership, both as part of the quarterly/monthly rhythm and ad-hoc where necessary.

  • Provide high-quality narrative of the Area performance all up for executive meetings

Qualifications

  • experience in Finance, ideally in similar role within similar Industry

  • Experience in Multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles is recommended

  • Analytical mindset and passion for process excellence.

  • Strong business acumen and experience in managing complex processes

  • Strong Communication and Influencer skills

  • Fluent in English, BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics
