[Northeast Bioanalytical Laboratories LLC is an advanced bioanalytical lab services provider and clinical research organization (CRO) offering custom solutions to support the pharma, biopharma, and biotech industries in their drug discovery, translational science, and research and development operations. They are looking for a Senior Data and Operations Analyst to work full-time at their office at 35 Worth Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518 (M-F, 9 am-5 pm, 40-hour per week). [What they are looking for: [A skilled Senior Data and Operations Analyst who will have responsibilities in operational research, data analytics, financial modeling, and artificial intelligence applications to support business process improvement, problem solving, decision making, and strategic initiatives across the company lines of business and to meet the client business needs. [What you will be doing: [Carrying out data and operational analytics using diverse data sets from various sources. [Taking a systems approach and applying appropriate mathematical, statistical, quantitative and qualitative methods, models, tools, simulations, advanced computing technologies, software, and predictive analytics for carrying out the projects and studies, taking up new studies, and recommending areas of further studies as per the company and client business needs. [Supporting data pipeline and data engineering tasks, including collection, cleaning, storage, and data security, focusing on the operational and financial data, identifying additional data sources, establishing data pipelines, and harmonizing their use along with available quantitative and qualitative data from the scientific and business sources. [Quantitative finance and mathematical modeling and simulation, including project finance modeling, activity-based costing, profitability analysis, and other such business-related tasks. [Developing and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms converging best practices of operations research (OR) and machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) paradigms. [Applying the tools and techniques of Bayesian and causal inference, dimensionality reduction, auto-encoders, generative transformers, and diffusion models as per the project requirements. [Properly validating the models for adequacy and fit-for-purpose, and reformulating them as per the need. [What you will need: [Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or a related field, such as Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Artificial Intelligence, or Applied Mathematics, and minimum 24 months (with Master's degree) or 48 months (with Bachelor's degree) of work experience in a similar or related position, and special skills: Advanced computing, including Python and/or R programming; NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Keras/TensorFlow libraries and packages; MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, or Stata statistical package; MS Azure and/or AWS cloud computing platform; MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent database package; Neo4j or other graph database package; Power BI, Tableau, Bloom or other data visualization package; project management tools such as PERT/CPM; knowledge graphs and network maps Machine learning models, including supervised, unsupervised, and self-supervised learning, one-shot learning, transfer learning, active learning, reinforcement learning; deep learning architectures, including CNN, autoencoders, RNN, LSTM, transformers, BERT, Bio-BERT, generative transformers, graph neural networks, generative adversarial networks, diffusion models; Bayesian and causal inference; dimensionality reduction (LDA, PCA, t-SNE) ]{calibri","sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}]{sans-serif""=""}
