Contracts Administrator Sr Advisor

GDIT is seeking a Contracts Administrator Sr Advisor with a diverse set of experiences to join the team. You will be responsible for negotiation and administration of contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations, and procurement policies and procedures The ideal individual will be experienced in providing Contracts expertise in risk assessment, have an ability to apply strategic resolutions to address business and programmatic risks, as well as identifying & analyzing complex and strategic contract matters. This position requires a significantly agile mindset, clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.

HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Administers a portfolio of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery

  • Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to project close out

  • Coordinates contract requirement fulfillment with programs

  • Modifies contract schedules and participates in vendor reseller agreement negotiations

  • May serve as a team or task lead

  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

  • Provides contractual support in proposal development

  • Provides advice and interpretation of solicitation requirements

  • Reviews solicitation requests and proposal volumes to proactively identify and mitigate risk areas and ensure compliance with terms and conditions

  • Active participant on proposal team which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, coordination of requirements, and advance understanding of proposal risk assessment

  • Coordinates and communicates with program directors, vice presidents and all matrixed organizations to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled

  • Maintains heightened knowledge of relevant industry and changing contractual procedures and practices

  • Actively maintains an extensive network with industry peers, business teams, and acquisition leadership across GDIT

  • Operates independently to resolve issues across other support areas and business division staff

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 14+ years of Contracts Administration experience required.

  • Required Experience: 10+ years of Contracts Administration experience

  • Security Clearance Level : Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in contracts administration and proposal activities. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFARS and applicable Agency Supplements, and CAS. Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent communication skills to independently correspond orally and in writing to company and customer leadership.

  • Location: This position is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in office, two days per week remote.
