Robert Half has opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Harahan, Louisiana. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team in the telecom industry, responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and general office duties. This is a short-term contract to full time position.

Responsibilities:

• Answering multiple phone lines, addressing customer inquiries, and providing solutions

• Processing customer orders accurately in a timely manner

• Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to input orders into the system and generate invoices

• Collaborating with the warehouse team to ensure orders are correctly packed and sent

• Learning and maintaining knowledge of our product codes and supplies for accurate order processing

• Managing customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Undertaking general office duties pertinent to the business operations

• Participating in training sessions to understand the products and order input system

• Handling other tasks and projects as assigned by the management team

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Customer Service Representative role or similar

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent listening skills and patience when dealing with customers

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and professional

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus

• Willingness to learn about the company's products and services in order to provide accurate information to customers
