DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position, assigned to the staff of the Director, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, provides clerical support to the Bureau Director; Director, Administration Division; and the Director, Operations Division in order to ensure the smooth and effective flow of work between Department/Bureau Headquarters and the District Enforcement Offices. Some key responsibilities of the position include answering telephones and greeting visitors, maintaining inventory records, and generating complaint forms using the Bureau's Incident Tracking System (ITS).

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must have one year of experience using Microsoft Excel. You must have one year of experience proofreading and editing various types of materials to ensure numerical and grammatical correctness and completeness. You must have one year of experience answering and assisting with incoming telephone calls. You must have one year of experience maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and logs. You must have one year of experience working in a position that required processing invoices, payments, and managing financial accounts. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
