Geisinger Health System Contact Center Trainer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Responsible for training scheduling processes and performing analytical and testing work surrounding those processes. When analysis and testing is involved, will work in partnership with various systems leaders to ensure the, integration is complete.

Job Duties

  • Creates and maintains course content, training materials and documentation that may include educational technology.

  • Uses education theory and principles applied to the current health care environment, consults for, designs, and supports implementation of education programs to support training initiatives for system-wide implementations, enhancements, and maintenance projects.

  • Serves as liaison between the user community and Leadership.

  • Contributes to curriculum and training delivery goals based upon information provided by System Analysts and Scheduling Leadership.

  • Evaluates, tests, updates, and manages courses and course materials.

  • Prepares and sends user communication for these goals and requirements.

  • Learns and incorporates and demonstrations and lectures using a variety of adult learning methods and software modalities.

  • Assists in creating training content related to industry and regulatory changes.

  • Trains all staff in applications in one-on-one, classroom, and train-the-trainer settings.

  • Participates in the planning and preparation of assigned projects and educational programs.

  • Supports enterprise-wide implementations of new department, system, and system enhancement training projects.

  • Develops collaborative, working relationships and meets or suggests enhancement of various application workflows.

  • Troubleshoots a variety of Registration, Insurance, and Scheduling questions and provides trends of such to Management.

  • When process improvement or problem-solving is required, develops solution scenarios for process improvement or problem-solving and makes recommendations to Leadership.

Position Details

*Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
