Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Overtime required to support Emergency Response during hazardous materials incidents and may need to work after hours and on weekends. Travel required to attend meetings and conferences around the Commonwealth and EPA Region 3. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of post-doctoral experience in the field of toxicology or pharmacology, which includes two years of experience in conducting risk assessments or setting toxicity thresholds; and a doctoral degree in toxicology or a closely related field. Special Requirement: This position requires board certification in general toxicology by the American Board of Toxicology or an equivalent certifying body within 18 months of employment.
