DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Management Technician, you will review and prepare Remittance Advice Form e-216 Excel spreadsheet submissions received by primary insurers and return any submissions that do not conform to business standards.  You will maintain a list of subscribers to the Mcare Coverage Mailer ("MCM") as well as maintain and update an Excel spreadsheet of insurer to coverage specialist assignments.  Thorough attention to detail is utilized to update the EMCEE database and document management system records for hospitals, nursing homes, and birth centers using the data received from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  You will routinely download files from the Department of State's Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA) FTP site to ensure timely updating of health care providers' records in the EMCEE database. You will also serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and voicemails intended for the Coverage Unit, and route calls and voicemails as appropriate.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, and report to the office one day per month.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
