DESCRIPTION OF WORK The purpose of the Network Specialist 1 position is to provide outstanding support for voice technologies within a variety of departments. The scope of support provided involves responding to incidents and service requests related to a wide array of technologies including IP phone service, unified communications, mobile devices, conference room A/V Equipment, and analog lines. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may be expected to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:The starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience providing information technology support services including hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance within a network environment; or One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or Successful completion of the Information Technology Intern - Bachelor Program; or One year of experience providing information technology support services including hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance within a network environment, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of experience providing information technology support services including hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance within a network environment.
