At Communications Construction Group as a Warehouse Technician you'll assist with the maintenance of the warehouse, materials, inventory systems, and equipment. You'll maintain the organization and tracking of all materials within the yard and warehouse, as well as keeping stock of all essential material for projects.

    What you'll do as a Warehouse Technician

  • O rganize the warehouse/yard to professional standards – customer and company owned materials.

  • Maintain the security of the warehouse/yard and its materials.

  • Loading, unloading, and storing materials from the trucks using forklift and pallet jack, including obtaining parts for crews and retaining proper paperwork/documentation for inventory entering and exiting the premises.

  • Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories as requested by Warehouse Supervisor / Corporate Office.

  • Keeps records of incoming and outgoing equipment & materials; such as tracking all receipts and disbursements on warehouse forms and obtaining parts specified by pick sheets.

  • Operation of Forklifts, Pallet Jack, and other equipment.

  • Assisting Crews with Drop off of Material if needed.

  • Various duties as assigned by Supervisor.

    Qualifications

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse facility

  • Familiarity with PC and various software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office)

  • Experience with Inventory Management a plus

  • Have basic math skills required for conducting cycle counts and physical inventories.

  • Be able to write in a legible manner when communicating information.

  • Must be able to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Can safely lift up to 75 lbs.

  • Be able to work independently and perform duties with minimal supervision.

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or lay for extended periods of time. This would require the ability to perform repetitive actions using hands, arms and legs. This position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs multiple times a day.
